Tell us how Orange Max (Pvt) Ltd came into being?

I started Orange Max (Pvt) Ltd in 2008 and was able to become a leading Sawn Timber importer in the country within a short period of time.  Business is performing well and has become one of the market leaders, acquiring large market share as a result of our effective business strategies.

How does your business differentiate itself in the industry?

The company's goal is to offer the best products at an affordable price to the consumer. With the  goodwill earned in the market and due to long-standing clients, we do not require a dedicated marketing/promotions team.

What are some of the challenges you face?

Scarcity of foreign exchange is the current challenge faced by the company. However, with the relaxation of some restrictions, up to a certain extent we have managed to continue our business operations at a fairly satisfactory level.

What is the next big thing on your business agenda?

To become the market leader in this line of business by expanding business in the northern peninsular.

How has Commercial Bank helped your business?

Commercial Bank is the sole banker of the company. Commercial Bank extended their fullest corporation during critical situations, especially in forex issues.

And lastly, what advice would you give to a new entrepreneur?

Never tire of hard work when you are stepping towards your dreams.
