1. Firstly, let’s talk about your business and how it started. Shall we?

Unitech Engineering started in 2014 as a sole proprietorship. We mainly import and distribute machines (tire changers, wheel balancers, air compressors and accessories) related to the automotive service industry (garage services) and provide service and maintenance for the above equipment.

 

2. How does your business differ from other competing businesses?

There are many reasons why our business stands out and is unique. We are always striving to innovate and find the latest solutions in the automotive service industry. That way we try to improve our services and stay ahead of the market competition.

We always focus on importing the equipment required by our customers and always act to provide them with advanced and high-quality equipment. Also, providing our customers with the best possible support, fulfilling their requests promptly and efficiently, and providing high customer service is also our distinguishing feature. Finally, our competitive pricing and fairness are our hallmarks.

 

3. What challenges have you faced in this journey and are you facing any recently?

The problem we faced in the early days of our business was lack of demand. Also, we had to face many difficulties and challenges like ineffective marketing, finance management, securing funds, hiring the right people, etc. Also, with the impact of Covid 19, many businesses around the world could not remain active for a long time, so it was difficult to ship goods continuously during that time. Despite all these challenges, we were able to overcome them and operate our business successfully due to the financial support received from the financial institution.

 

4. Let's talk about your future business dream, shall we?

Our long-term business dream is to be the leader in this field by importing and distributing advanced and modern equipment related to the automotive service industry.

 

5. How was the support received from Commercial Bank during your journey?

For any small business it is essential to have a bank for financial services. We chose Commercial Bank as our sole banker at the initial stage of our business and the bank helped us in the initial stages to build our office, purchase fixed assets like vehicles and machinery. During the Covid-19 pandemic and the recent economic crisis, the bank supported us by providing the necessary financial support for the survival of the industry.

 

6. What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs?

To achieve success in the market we must be able to identify and provide the products that customers want. It is also essential to have a good understanding of the market and competitors. The most important thing, especially if you are in the import business, is that your prices are competitive, and you provide high quality products to the customer.
