 P Vanithathevy is the treasurer of the ‘Super Mother’ women’s club that is a part of the marine industry. Initially these women did not have any financial support to expand their business. This is when they approached Commercial Bank and the Bank agreed to give them a loan at low interest. The funding enabled the women’s club members to buy machinery, boats and fishing nets  to expand their business. Due to their current financial stability, the women can provide an education for their children.
